The System

Modular gear that
works together.

Every piece is designed to interlock — a jib rides a Spider, the Spider rides FlexTrak, the tripod bolts to the dolly. Buy what you need now, add to it later.

Standard Porta-Jib jib armFlagship

Standard Porta-Jib®

The original portable jib. Carries up to 100 lb of camera and fluid head, assembles in under five minutes with no tools, and accepts 100mm, 150mm or Mitchell heads — so it grows with your camera package.

  • 57" reach
  • 72" boom
  • 60 lb arm
  • Vector bar included
Porta-Jib Traveller jib armTravel

Porta-Jib® Traveller

A telescoping, front-operated jib that folds to 31" with no loose parts and runs on the 100mm tripod you already own. Sealed precision bearings and no cables or belts keep maintenance to a minimum.

  • 29 lb
  • 40 lb payload
  • 38–55" reach
  • Folds to 31"
Standard Porta-Jib with 36-inch extension kitKits

Extension & Mini Kits

Stretch the Standard jib with the 36" extension for big, sweeping moves, or swap in the 17" Mini Kit for tight interiors where a full-size arm won't fit.

  • Up to 92" reach
  • Up to 131" boom
  • ~3' lift (Mini)
Porta-Jib counterweights and Vector balancing barExclusive design

Vector™ Balancing System

A small weight on a second axis that shifts as you boom up or down — like an automatic tuning weight. The result: the arm holds its position and lands without the bounce common to lightweight jibs.

  • Standard on both jibs
  • No drift at the top
  • Clean stops
Losmandy 3-Leg Spider DollyTripod dolly

3-Leg Spider Dolly

Turns your tripod into a portable tracking dolly. One side's wheels float in and out, so you only need to approximate a 2-foot track spacing — set-up on FlexTrak is nearly instant. Upgradable to 4-leg.

  • Steel, PVC or FlexTrak
  • Floating wheels
  • One-case kit
Losmandy 4-Leg Spider DollyRideable

4-Leg Spider Dolly

A fully rideable dolly with an adjustable column, foot platforms, push bar — and a seat that pivots 360° around the column so the operator's body follows the pan naturally.

  • Column 21–34"
  • 200 lb column rating
  • 360° seat
  • Low Shot Kit option
Losmandy 5-Leg Spider Dolly with jibJib on track

5-Leg Spider Dolly

Puts a tripod-mounted jib onto track for compound jib-and-dolly moves. Available with standard track wheels or Porta-Glide wheel clusters, and works with other tripods and jibs too.

  • 4 wheel clusters
  • Steel track ready
  • Porta-Glide option
Losmandy Mini TrolleyTabletop

Mini Trolley

Already own a Spider? You already own a Mini Trolley. Re-mount the wheel arms on the base plate for product and tabletop work on narrow 9–10" track spacing.

  • 3 or 4 wheels
  • 100mm / 150mm / Mitchell
Losmandy FlexTrak flexible dolly trackAward-winning

Losmandy® FlexTrak

Seamless, flexible dolly track that curves in any direction — down to a 90° turn on a 2' radius — yet stays rigid enough to carry an operator. A 40' section rolls into a 2' bundle that fits in a car.

  • 30 lb / 40' piece
  • 17' or 40' runs
  • No seams, no bumps
  • NAB Pick of Show
FlexTrak Leveling SystemUneven floors

FlexTrak Leveling System

Aluminum track channels and spreaders form a frame you can level with standard dolly wedges. Channels also straighten the guide rail for dead-straight push-ins and pull-backs.

  • 36" channels
  • 24.5" spacing
  • Mix and match
Porta-Glide dolly sledsNo flat spots

Porta-Glide Dolly Sleds

For heavy professional dollies. Each sled's 16 wheels are all different diameters, so their flat spots never land together — no rolling back and forth before every take. Floating arms track curves cleanly.

  • 16 wheels / sled
  • Detachable assemblies
  • Custom engraving
Lightweight Tripod (LWT)Jib-rated

Lightweight Tripod (LWT)

Sturdy, portable support for either jib. Rubber pivoting feet protect floors and bolt to the 3-Leg Spider. Choose a 100mm, 150mm or Mitchell top, or the direct jib adapter.

  • 29–46" height
  • Folds to 33"
  • 14 lb
  • 12" riser option
100mm LW Tripod (LWT-EX)Heavy duty

100mm LW Tripod (LWT-EX)

An everyday-size 100mm tripod that sets up instantly — but built far stronger than typical 100mm sticks, so it can carry a loaded jib with confidence.

  • 13 lb
  • 300 lb capacity
  • Spider-ready feet
Balanced Monitor BracketFront-op

Balanced Monitor Bracket

Keeps an 8" (or smaller) on-camera monitor in view as you boom. It's balanced, so it holds whatever angle you set — flip it downward as the camera rises and let go. Adjustable drag included.

  • Up to 8" monitors
  • Nodal balance
  • Drag control
Low-Profile 3-Way LevelerQuick level

Low-Profile 3-Way Leveler

Level a fully loaded jib at its base instead of fighting the tripod legs — essential when rolling a jib on the 3-Leg Spider. Stays attached and still fits the jib's case.

  • Standard & Traveller
  • Case-compatible

Porta-Glide dolly sleds

No flat spots.
No bumps.

Skateboard-style sled wheels flatten under a loaded dolly, so grips roll back and forth before every take. Porta-Glide solves it at the wheel.

Porta-Glide wheel cluster showing wheels of different diameters
16 different diametersEvery wheel on a sled is a slightly different size, all touching the rail at once.
Flat spots never line upEach wheel reaches its flat spot at a different moment, so the camera never feels it.
Roll straight awayNo rocking the dolly to round the wheels out between takes.
